CAMP DESCRIPTION:
This Youth Camp is for ages 10-15
Dates 7/11-7/15 Times: 1:00pm-4:00pm Cost $260 plus $50 lab fee.
of Art Camp students experience Art and Science through creating their own nontoxic paints, ink and mediums, exploring the community and local parks for items for ink pigment, printmaking, microscope photography, and cyanotype photography. Students will experience joining art, environment, and science to create mediums and multiple projects to take home. Students will use their created paints in laser cut orints and artist instructed plein air outdoor painting.
SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE: Class is supported in part by Tacoma Creates with limited need-based scholarships available for residents of the City of Tacoma! Please contact us for assistance.
COVID NOTICECOVID NOTICE: Class size limited to 10 in-lab participants. Participants will practice safe distancing and will be encouraged to wear masks but not be required to do so. In Lab, classes may be canceled if state guidelines regarding group gatherings are restricted.
