Coding for Drones Camp

CLASS DESCRIPTION: Youth Camps are for ages 9-15 and are 5 days long. Students will learn design of drones and how to code for drone performance. Drone laws and ethics, FFA authorization, uses of drones for community, mapping, and photography art will be taught. Using the understanding of laws and ethics, students will complete multiple droning challenges such as designing and making a class drone and transporting goods. Students will work in teams to design and construct drone obstacles for drone races. Camp Cost $260 plus $40 lab fee. ATTENTION FOR THE TIME BEING PLEASE ONLY REGISTER ONE TIME. COVID NOTICE: Class size limited to 8 in-lab participants. Participants will practice safe distancing and will be needing to wear face masks. Fablab will also provide comfortable face shields to participants. In Lab, classes may be canceled if state guidelines regarding group gatherings are restricted.
