CLASS DESCRIPTION: Youth Camps are for ages 8-15 and are 5 days long. Students will review the design of drones, fly multiple styles of drones, and learn how to code for synchronized group drone performance. Drone laws and ethics, FFA authorization, uses of drones for community, mapping, and photography art will be reviewed before the flight. Using an understanding of laws and ethics, students will complete multiple droning challenges such as designing a group drone course and designing and playing drone games. Students will work in teams to design and construct drone obstacles for group drone races. Camp Cost $260 plus $40 lab fee.

COVID NOTICE: Class size limited to 8 in-lab participants. Participants will practice safe distancing and will be needing to wear face masks. Fablab will also provide comfortable face shields to participants. In Lab, classes may be canceled if state guidelines regarding group gatherings are restricted.
