Python Microbit Robot Camp

CLASS DESCRIPTION: Youth Camps are for ages 9-15 are 5 days long. This camp is for learning to create your own computer programs using the powerful Python programming language. During the camp, students will learn how to write code using a Micorbit Robot to have real time interaction with code. Student will build and program a Microbit robot which will the be students to keep. Students will also have the opportunity to explore programming with the Sphero robot. Small class size ensures individual attention as students explore programming. Description: Cost $260 plus $40 lab fee.

PREREQUISITES: Be familiar with Python OR have taken the Beginners Python Camp
NOTE: This camp will be the same as last year’s camp with added projects using Microbits. If your camper has already taken this camp, they may want to take to take our advanced camp!

COVID NOTICE: Class size limited to 8 in-lab participants. Participants will practice safe distancing and will be needing to wear face masks. Fablab will also provide comfortable face shields to participants. In Lab, classes may be canceled if state guidelines regarding group gatherings are restricted.
