CAMP DESCRIPTION
This Youth Camp is for ages 9-13
Dates 8/1-8/5 Times: 9:00am-12:00pm Cost $260 plus $20 lab fee. Scholarhip applications are currently full for this camp.
Learn to create your own computer programs using the powerful Python programming language. This camp covers the basics of writing code from scratch to Python language and thinking like a programmer. You will do several fun projects using lights, sound and motion sensing on your own Microbit pocket-sized computer. If you’ve wondered about what goes on inside your computer or wanted to dive into “real” programming, this is for you! You will be working with the latest version of Micropython and writing your code in the IDLE programming environment.

SAFETY NOTICE: Class size limited to 10 in-lab participants. Participants will practice safe distancing and masks will not required but will be encouraged. In Lab, classes may be canceled if state guidelines regarding group gatherings are restricted.
