This Youth Camp is for ages 9-13
Dates 8/8-8/12 Times: 9:00am-12:00pm Cost $260
This camp covers the basics of Sphero Bolt Robots, writing code from scratch to Python language and computational thinking like a programmer. You will do several fun projects using lights, sound and motion sensing on Sphero Robots! If you’ve wondered about what goes on inside your computer or wanted to dive into “real” programming, this is for you! You will be working with the latest version of Python and writing your code in the IDLE programming environment.
SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE: Class is supported in part by Tacoma Creates with need-based scholarships available for residents of the City of Tacoma! Please submit a scholarship application here or contact us for assistance.
SAFETY NOTICE: Class size limited to 10 in-lab participants. Participants will practice safe distancing and masks will not required but will be encouraged. In Lab, classes may be canceled if state guidelines regarding group gatherings are restricted.
