CAMP DESCRIPTION
This Youth Camp is for grades 6-9 if you are wanting to enroll younger youth please email info@fablabeducation.org
Dates 4/4-4/6 Times: 1:00pm- 4:00pm Cost: $150 / Free for city of Tacoma Residents
Music Maker Camp will introduce students to 3D printers and design, laser etching and design, and Python coding using a free digital audio workspace to create beats and effects. Students will explore the history and culture of musical instruments and use multiple fabrication methods while making their own laser etched Diddley Bow and 3D printed Ocarina. Students will also explore the future of music and DAW technology. Please note that this is an introduction to experiences and technology camp.
Camp is supported in part by Tacoma Creates with free tuition for city of Tacoma residents.
