Free Cultural Heritage Club highlighting the heritage and history of African Americans. Learn about the rich and influential history of African culture through art and science. This Camp unifies the past and present, allowing participants to use design skills while exploring the wealth of African ancestral craftsmanship. The goal of Ubuntu Camp is to
introduce youth of different ages, race, and backgrounds to the rich and influential history of African
American people through art and heritage. Ubuntu Culture Camp will enable campers to learn about African art, and math concepts while having fun! Campers will make African Masks, Mancala Game Boards, and take home their own canvas art.
Scholarship available to Tacoma residents through Tacoma Creates! Thank you Tacoma!! Please contact us at info@fablabeducation.org for scholarship codes.
COVID NOTICE: Class size limited to 8 in-lab participants. Masks are not required but encouraged. In Lab, classes may be canceled if state guidelines regarding group activities are restricted.
