Morning Winter Youth Camp is for ages 8-12 and are 3 days long Dec 29th-30th. 9:00 am-12:oo pm

Cost $100. 

Camp is free for City of Tacoma Residents through support from Tacoma Creates.  Please list address on registration form. If not from Tacoma and needing scholarship assistance please email info@fablabeducation.org for options.

  DESCRIPTION:  In this Winter Break we are exploring Japanese New Year Shogatsu through Tinkercad, laser cutting, and direct to garment printing! This camp covers the basics of Tinkercad, how 3D printers work, how to clean up and decorate a 3d print, and how to laser cut your own wooden Japanese lucky charm. Students will complete a 3d printed stamp to make Japanese New Years Postcards, clean and decorate a 3D printed Japanese mask, and create wooden Japanese Lucky charms (Omamori). . Winter camps are free to City of Tacoma residents and $100 for non residents. Scholarships are available.  Camps are limited to 10 students.
