Zero-Sum Game Design in Unity Camp

CLASS DESCRIPTION:Youth Camps are for ages 9-15 and are 5 days long. Unity is a professional software for building interactive environments for game, virtual reality, and much more. This camp is designed for campers with no experience in coding or design, to launch into the world of game design. Campers will design 3D environments in Sketch-up, and then bring them into Unity to build objectives and rules for their games. We will 3D print a small Sketch-up model for campers at the end of the week. On the last day, we invite friend and family in to play the prototype games. COVID NOTICE: Class size limited to 8 in-lab participants. Participants will practice safe distancing and will be needing to wear face masks. Fablab will also provide comfortable face shields to participants. In Lab, classes may be canceled if state guidelines regarding group gatherings are restricted.
