CLASS DESCRIPTION: Ages 10+. Free Monthly Cultural Heritage Club highlighting the heritage and history of African Americans. Learn about the rich and influential history of African culture through art and science. This Club unifies the past and present, allowing participants to use CNC technology and design skills while exploring the wealth of African ancestral craftsmanship. This club is perfect for youth, or intergenerational groups. Each participant will leave with new knowledge, friendships, and a token created on the laser cutter.

COVID NOTICE: Class size limited to 6 in-lab participants. Participants will practice safe distancing and will be needing to wear face masks. Fablab will also provide comfortable face shields to participants. In Lab, classes may be canceled if state guidelines regarding group gatherings are restricted.
