We believe through experiential learning students see, hear and touch their ideas and skills as they come to life. Increasing access to STEAM education builds competency and resilience in community members through successful learning of skills through hands-on applications. We support participants in our programs in being their authentic self, believing that diversity fuels innovation. We consciously set out to support inclusiveness and respect for others in Science and Technology.
How do we do that?
- Provide scholarships for community members for experiences, classes, camps and workshops in STEAM education
- Provide equipment and a diverse instructional team for participants to engage in the promotion and participation of STEAM education
- Provide access for participants from under-served or at-risk populations to engage in STEAM education and programming to foster competency in STEAM activities that enhance personal and community resiliency
- Sponsor, host and/or participate in events and activities that promote STEAM in the community such as School District Science Fairs, Makerfairs, and Community festivals
